It operates in Dar es Salaam and Moshi, with a hospital in Dar es Salaam. Since its founding in 1994, CCBRT has grown from a provider of community-based rehabilitation into a super-specialist referral hospital. It offers a range of medical services to both vulnerable and private patients, with profits from the private services reinvested into the subsidized care.

Vacancy Overview CCBRT is seeking a vibrant, sharp, and experienced hospital receptionist to enhance front office services. The position is offered under volunteer guidelines, with CCBRT volunteer terms and conditions applying.

The Role The Receptionist at CCBRT Hospital plays a critical role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front office experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing relevant, accurate, and complete information on services available at CCBRT.
  • Responding promptly to questions and needs of patients and visitors.
  • Maintaining a clean and well-kept receptionist workstation and patient/customer sitting area.
  • Receiving and channeling patient/customer feedback to the appropriate authority in a timely manner.
  • Responding courteously to inquiries from patients, prospective patients, and visitors via telephone, email, and in person.
  • Verifying client bookings upon arrival.
  • Using polite language while serving patients.
  • Adhering to CCBRT guidelines and protocols.
  • Ensuring client confidentiality is observed.

Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum Diploma in Customer Service, Office Management, Business
  • Administration, or a related field.
  • Certificate of Secondary Education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, record keeping, or a related field.
  • Medical background or experience working in a hospital environment is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package).
  • Energetic, flexible, and skilled at multitasking.
