About Taifa Gas

Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited, initially established as Mihan Gas Company Limited, was duly incorporated in the United Republic of Tanzania in 2005, holding a certificate of incorporation number 52508, as a limited liability entity pursuant to the Companies Ordinance (Cap 212). Over an initial two-year period, the Company invested significantly in its startup infrastructure within the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) sector and subsequently expanded its operations. In 2018, following a strategic acquisition by Mihan Gas Company Limited and subsequent consolidation, Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited rebranded and launched a new corporate vision.

Taifa Gas is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Consumer Sales Drivers – Graduate Trainees in Tanzania. This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated candidates who meet the specified requirements to contribute to our operations while providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Certificate in professional defensive driving from reputable and recognized institutions, preferably VETA or NIT
• Minimum education: Form 4
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a valid driving license
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Capability to drive commercial trucks of 3 tonnes and above
• Sales experience is an added advantage
• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Commitment to providing high-level customer care services
• Dedicated and hardworking
• High integrity, disciplined, team player, and self-motivated
• Flexibility and readiness to work under high pressure
• Knowledge of mechanics is an added advantage
