Simera Transport isa road transport and logistics company based in Tanzania. Established in 2012, the company’s headquarters are located in Dar es Salaam, allowing it to strategically facilitate the import and export of goods throughout East and Southern Africa.

Requirements:

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transport/Logistics, or a related field.
• Specialist knowledge and proven hands-on inspection experience in Heavy-Duty Vehicles (HDV).
• Certification in Vehicle Inspection or Road Safety Standards will be an added advantage.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, electrical systems, engine performance, and emissions).
• Familiarity with Tanzanian Road Traffic Act and LATRA regulations governing vehicle safety and inspection.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in vehicle inspection, fleet maintenance, or a related automotive field.
• Experience with goods transport vehicles is highly preferred.
